Type 22 Double Panel Convector Radiators
Based on your preference, I’ve matched Type 22 panel radiators to each room’s heat loss calculation. These are the highest-output standard panel type — double panel + double convector for maximum heat. All white finish, includes brackets & fixings.

Heat Loss Summary

Calculated per BS EN 12831 with 15% safety margin. End-of-terrace (1952): 3 external walls, solid brick U=2.1, double glazing U=1.4. Loft uninsulated U=2.3, suspended timber floor U=1.5.

Room Floor Area Target Heat Loss BTU/h
Living Room Ground 14.1 m² 21°C 2,114W 7,213
Dining Room Ground 13.3 m² 21°C 2,125W 7,251
Hallway Ground 5.4 m² 18°C 890W 3,037
Main Bedroom First 11.6 m² 18°C 1,831W 6,247
Bedroom 2 First 11.6 m² 18°C 1,831W 6,247
Upstairs Office First 6.0 m² 21°C 1,305W 4,453
TOTAL 62.0 m² 10,096W 34,448

Note: First floor rooms have uninsulated loft above (U=2.3) — significant roof heat loss. Larger radiator sizes recommended for bedrooms to compensate.
